Dr. Sagar Vanka is the Medical Director of Apoorva Healthcare Group, overseeing a multi-specialty ecosystem spanning hospital care, diagnostics, and cosmetology. A graduate of Andhra Medical College (MBBS), he combines a strong clinical foundation with a growing focus on healthcare management, currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

HIV & Sexual Medicine

Dr. Vanka’s clinical practice centers on HIV/STD consultation and sexual medicine, an area he has pursued through advanced training from leading global institutions. His credentials include certifications in HIV Treatment and Management, HIV Prevention, and Interprofessional Care in HIV from the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS; Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) and PrEP for Adolescents and Young Adults from the University of Rochester Medicine; the National HIV Curriculum from the University of Alabama at Birmingham; and a Sexual Medicine Certificate from ISSM University, where he also holds membership with the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM). He has further completed the Sexual Health course through the Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, under the UNESCO Chair for Sexual Health and Human Rights.

Dr. Vanka is driven by the intersection of healthcare and technology, exploring how AI-powered tools and structured operational systems can transform patient care and healthcare organizations alike. He previously founded and successfully exited MedicosDen, a multi-specialty polyclinic chain spanning medicine, cosmetology, and dentistry. He is also an active and continuous learner in the longevity space, following and engaging with emerging research and practices in the field.
